 Grubbing Hard BBQ is a pandemic-born business that began by nourishing neighbors, friends, and family with freshly smoked wood-fired barbecue and comfort food in the winter of 2020. After losing his job amidst the pandemic, Matt spent many long nights tending to his smokers and wondering what the future held. As months passed, “Quarantine Que” became a staple in the small Olney community, and lines for contactless curbside orders formed up the street of his parent’s house for friends, family, and neighbors to pick up their grub. Barbecue quickly turned from a hobby to a passion after overwhelming support and praise for his smoked meats. The support on social media spread like a wildfire and suddenly a legitimate business was born. Nearly two years later, GHB has become a full-time business with hundreds of loyal customers and thousands of followers on the internet.
